| We are a non profit organization recognized by the government and signed in as such since the 7th of January 2002. Our aim is: · to improve and to diversify the image that visitors have of Buenos Aires city. · to make the stay of our visitors safer and more comfortable · to change the vision that you have of the "porteños" (Buenos Aires citizens · to make possible to get to know places less visited · to ease the contact between visitors and "porteños" · to promote the amelioration of the cordiality and the conviviality in the city |

CBA offers the visitors: · Cicerones: the free guide service of "porteños", proud connoisseurs of the city attractions that will accompany you during your visits. · Information: related to the city's visitors' needs, such as: visits, lodging, meals, shopping and transportation. · Orientation: location as well as official and other necessary errands. · Diffusion: of our activities and our city's attractions. · Training: of volunteers and organizations with similar objectives in other cities. |

| CBA develops its activities based exclusively on public and private resources to promote tourist activities and the knowledge of our city, as well as donations and funds collected on specially organized events. By regulation Number 027 of the 17th July 2002 "Cicerones de Buenos Aires" was declared "Interés Turistico de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires" (important attraction for the visitors of Buenos Aires). By declarartion Number 411/05 of the legislature of the city of Buenos Aires, the campagn of "Buenos Aires cordial" convoked by CBA, was declared "Interés Turistico y cultural" (important organization for the tourism and the culture of Buenos Aires). |
