A Cicerone is a person who offers time and knowledge for free to visitors of Buenos Aires by taking them on walking tours through our vast and multi-faceted city. In this way, "porteños" (citizens of Buenos Aires) can participate and contribute their knowledge in different ways to improve the image of our city. |

| Cicerones As the "friends" we aim to be, Cicerones give non-professional guide services free to visitors, showing them "barrios" (city districts), spots, buildings, parks, etc. The visits, lasting up to three hours, are on foot or by public transportation in groups of up to six people through areas that Cicerones know well and are proud to show the visitors. Terms To be a Cicerone, it's essential to enjoy interacting with people and appreciate community work. It's also necessary to have good knowledge of any barrio or attraction in Buenos Aires and to be enthusiastic about showing it. Knowing a foreign language is also important. Availability Cicerones must be available at least one day every month for the three hours that each visit requires. Additionally, they must be available to take a training period to become familiar with the goals and objectives of CBA. If you would like to join our organization as a Cicerone, contact us by completing the following form: · Electronic form for volunteers. International interns and volunteers CBA accepts Argentine and international students and graduates who want to gain experience through an internship of three to six months. Opportunities exist to gain experience in management, information technology, publicity, research, fundraising, international relations and other areas within the organization. Every intern is required to propose a project to be carried out under the supervision of a CBA advisor, who assists and evaluates the intern while at CBA.
